Hi—My name is Michelle Marie and welcome to Home Page

A tribute to The Little Black Dress

A little black dress is a short, unfussy evening or cocktail dress, popularized in the 1920s by the fashion designer Coco Chanel with her "Ford" dress, as Vogue later called it.

The "little black dress" is considered by many women to be an essential part of a complete wardrobe. It is a well-known "rule of fashion" that every woman should own a simple, elegant black dress that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

I did not take the time to explain each and every picture on this page partially because I didn’t have enough room and I didn’t want to go into all the details of my travels. Call is my right to privacy, but I prefer to protect some of the beautiful places I’ve been so I can enjoy future visits. In some cases I wasn’t able to reach the appropriate people for permission—so I’m earring on the safe side. On future pages I will make an attempt at providing a better explanation of where I am and what I’m up to.
