Hi—My name is Michelle Marie and welcome to Home Page This is my Out and About page 2 (Most of these photos were taken in 2006)

Can you imagine having a view like this out your front window? I’m one lucky girl. |
This little park is within walking distance from my house. |

For those of you that are not familiar with the downtown area of Chicago, this was taken in front of the US Post Office on Clark St.
The “farmers market” that appears weekly in the square really brings the country into the city. No need to drive miles and miles out of town to pick up fresh produce and flowers. Can you tell that it’s getting close to the holidays? If there was a shortage of pumpkins this year, you’d never know it. |
This is another great place to spend a lazy afternoon, relaxing in the great out doors with a hot cup of chocolate and a good book. Barnes & Noble has made their mark on the city in a big way. This shop is located on State St. and shares the building with DePaul University. |

You would probably never believe that I don’t like to paint because I don’t like cleaning up afterwards. So why do I spend my free time creating walls like this is beyond me. Thankfully, I had lots of helpers who were more than anxious to do the dirty work. |

Every now and then, albeit, it seems like its happening more and more often these days, I have been asked to attend numerous fund raising events. I thought I’d pop in a few photos from a recent event conducted for Catholic Charities. I have purposely left the other guests out of these photos for obvious reasons. But I thought you might want to see my other looks. |
Another fund raiser, this time it was for the Satellite Council Membership for WTTW-11. These events are really fun to attend because you never know what kind of celebrities will show up, it’s usually a surprise. Anyone familiar with Chicago will recognize that this was at the Hilton. |

This fall season just wouldn’t be right without getting a few pictures with pumpkins and fall flowers. Have you even been on a hay ride? One of these days I’m finally going to get that opportunity. Maybe I could find a few friends to go with me. I hope I don’t have to wait too many more years. |
